The campaign was designed to promote a season of Stanley Kubrick films and a bespoke Channel 4 documentary about Kubrick on More4. It was important to us that the technique of shooting was faithful to Kubrick’s – there could be no post production work, special effects or invisible edits. It needed to be shot entirely in camera with a steadicam, a technique Kubrick pioneered in 'The Shining'. Kubrick possessed a fearsome presence on set, and an obsessive-compulsive attention to detail. The objective of the trail was to convey those idiosyncrasies, while at the same time revering his genius.
